Owning A Dog Can Lead To Living Longer Study Says
A new study has claimed owning a dog can lead to living a much longer life.
The American Heart Association collected data for over 3 million people for this study. The results showed dog owners had better cardiovascular results. The study says that people with dogs that already suffered a heart attack are 65 percent less likely to die. 24 percent of people with pet dogs have a reduced risk of all-cause mortality.
Another study operated by Uppsala University in Sweden showed similar results. The study showed that people of the age of 40 to 80 and are pet owners have good cardiovascular health.
So if your in your late 30’s and you don’t have a dog, it might time to get you one. It may help your mental and heart health in the long run.
