Plant-based uses 75% less water then the process currently in place to slaughter cows. It takes 1,800 gallons of water to go from a cow to your dinner plate.

Heme is an iron-containing compound of the porphyrin class which forms the nonprotein part of hemoglobin and some other biological molecules.
